"The Truman Show" is a movie about a man, called Truman, whose entire has been televised without his knowledge. His whole life is a TV show, and he doesn't know.
The town where he lives was built specially for him, and all the people who live there are actors. The movie start with interviews with the actors (of the movie, not the real life) that are playing the characters in the Truman's life. They said the show isn't just an acting job, that it's a lifestyle, nothing itś fake, it's merely controlled.
The show, apparently, gives hope and life to people who need. Truman is a dreamer, he wants to be an adventurer, but only we know he's been trapped.
The movie is based on The Allegory of the Cave, by Platon. It's tell us about our knowlegde about the world and the people around us. Since we born, we are in a cavern, and the shadows that we see is our reality.
I recommend it. I cried with happines, and I love the details.

Hi Valu, I have not been able to watch this movie from start to finish but I have formed an opinion from what I have seen of it, it is a very good movie that makes you reflect on life and have philosophical thoughts.
